Oksana, born and raised in a small town called Spassk-Dalny, eastern Russia, came to Korea in 2018 as a 21-year-old graduate of nursing school.

"[On Oct 29 she] had dinner in a restaurant behind the Hamilton Hotel and left around 10 pm. She was stuck in the crowd, unable to move for 40 minutes, only to be rescued as she fell. She received CPR, but eventually died."
